FIBROMYALGIA: The Disease of Unexpressed Emotions

Fibromyalgia can cause much more than ordinary tiredness.
Some people wake up feeling exhausted even after spending many hours in bed.
Everyday activities that once seemed easy may require considerably more energy.
This persistent fatigue can affect work, exercise, social activities, and daily responsibilities.
Fatigue can have many different causes, however, so it shouldn’t automatically be attributed to fibromyalgia without appropriate medical evaluation.
3. Sleep Problems
Pain and sleep difficulties can occur together.
People with fibromyalgia may have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up feeling refreshed.
The CDC lists sleep problems among the common signs and symptoms associated with fibromyalgia.
Poor sleep may also make fatigue, concentration difficulties, and pain harder to manage.
